Excellence in Academics and Programs - Since its founding in 1969, Frederica Academy has offered a strong college preparatory education in a nurturing, supportive setting for its students. Successes at Frederica Academy continue as our graduates gain acceptance to top universities and colleges, such as Cornell, Dartmouth, Davidson, Duke, Emory, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Northwestern, Princeton, Wake Forest, NYU, University of Georgia, the Universities of Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Vanderbilt to name a few.

Access and diversity - Despite a modest endowment, Frederica Academy traditionally provides financial assistance to a portion of its student population. We are proud of this tradition of offering an education to a diverse population - geographically, economically and socially. The ability to award financial aid to families throughout Coastal Georgia continues to be at the very heart of our school’s mission.

Underwriting education for all - Tuition typically covers only 80% of Frederica Academy’s operating costs. The balance comes mainly from Annual Fund gifts and from proceeds of our annual Derby Day fundraiser and auction. Your support of these two key drives helps the school maintain the margin of excellence in its programs for students and faculty, and in maintaining the campus grounds and facilities.
