Application Process

Psychological & Educational Testing

All applicants with any prior psychoeducational testing records must submit the records when applying to Frederica Academy. Psychological and educational testing must be less than three years old.

Decision Dates

The first round and priority deadline for 2024-2025 applicants is March 1 with decisions shared by March 25. Complete applications submitted after March 1 will be reviewed in the second round should all materials be submitted by April 1. Second round admission decisions will be shared by April 25. Complete applications received after April 1 will be reviewed on a rolling basis as space remains available. Admission decisions are communicated via email. Parents of accepted students will have a deadline by which to respond/reply to the enrollment offer.

When vacancies in each grade have been filled, candidates will be placed in a “waiting pool” and accepted as openings occur. Priority is given to qualified siblings of Frederica Academy. Applicants will be notified once the Admission Committee has met as to the decision.

Midyear enrollment is offered as space allows. Pre-Kindergarten through 8thgrade students may enroll at any time during the school year. Students in 9th-12th grade must enroll within 4 weeks of the start of Frederica’s semester marking period.

Need based financial aid awards, if applied for, are communicated once a student is accepted. Financial assistance requests do not play a role in the admission decision making process.

Parents are welcome to call the Admission Office at any time to schedule a campus tour, schedule a student shadow visit, or check the status of the application.
