Each applicant is carefully evaluated by the Admission Committee to determine his/her ability to successfully handle the demands of Frederica's academic programs. Frederica Academy seeks students with positive attitudes who are willing to work hard and contribute to the school community. We value lifelong learning, diversity, honor, and respect.

March 1 is the First Round Application + Supplemental Material Deadline with notifications sent by March 25. April 1 is the Second Round Application + Supplemental Material Deadline with notifications sent by April 25. Complete applications received after April 1 will be reviewed on a rolling basis as space remains available.

That varies from year to year and depends on the grade level. The primary entry points are Pre-K and Kindergarten when the Frederica Academy experience begins, and we naturally expand at Grades 5, 6, and 9, however, children can enter at any level depending on availability.

Children of alumni, siblings of current students and returning students do receive some priority when all other factors are considered equal.

Additional costs include the Consumable and Technology fee (covering many classroom supplies, technology resources, field trips and speakers), uniforms, lunch (if purchased), Chromebook for grades 5-12, and book rental fees for AP courses only. Athletic fees for Spirit Packs may be applicable for certain sports.
