Admission Timeline & Decision Dates

The priority deadline for 2027-2028 applicants is March 1 with decisions shared by March 25. Complete applications received after March 1 will be reviewed on a rolling basis as space remains available. Admission decisions are communicated via email. Parents of accepted students will have a deadline by which to respond/reply to the enrollment offer.

Waiting Pool

When a grade level reaches capacity, qualified candidates are placed in a waiting pool. As vacancies occur throughout the season, the Admission Committee reviews the pool to fill openings. Priority consideration is given to qualified siblings of current Frederica Academy families. Families will be notified immediately following any committee action regarding their child's status.

Midyear Enrollment

We welcome midyear transfer students as classroom space permits:

Pre-Kindergarten – 8th Grade: Eligible for midyear enrollment at any point during the academic year.
9th – 12th Grade: To ensure proper credit acquisition and academic transition, Upper School students must enroll within the first 4 weeks of a semester marking period.

Need-Blind Financial Aid

Frederica Academy is committed to an inclusive, merit-based admission process. Financial aid requests do not impact admission decisions. Need-based financial aid evaluations are conducted independently, and award decisions are communicated concurrently with official acceptances for families who have completed the financial aid application.
