Middle School Uniforms

School Uniforms and Dress Code

Uniform Guidelines: 

  • Students in Middle School are required to wear a school uniform. 
  • All uniform clothes may be purchased through the Land’s End website for school uniforms. 
  • Frederica Academy’s Lands’ End code is #9000-6357-9.
  • We have a limited supply of new uniforms on campus during the year. Please contact Darlene Eichner 912.368.9981 ext. 111 or at darleneeichner@fredericaacademy.org to make an appointment. Additionally, the FA Parent Association collects gently-used uniforms and hosts sales throughout the year. 

Shirts:

  • Short or long-sleeved white oxford
  • Short or long-sleeve knit polo in classic navy, evergreen, black, white, cobalt blue, or ice pink 
  • Short-sleeved active polo in classic navy, evergreen, black, white or cobalt blue 

Pants / Shorts: 

  • Solid colored chino style pants or shorts in gray, navy, khaki 

Dresses / Skirts / Skorts: 

  • Must extend to the palm of the hand and be gray, navy, plaid, or khaki 

Leggings / Tights: 

  • On cold days, only leggings or tights in black, gray, navy, or white may be worn underneath a dress, skirt or skort. 

Outerwear: 

  • Lands’ End sweaters, sweatshirts, and fleece jackets in classic navy, evergreen, light blue, black or white
  • FA branded outerwear from FA’s Shield Shop or FA athletic teams is allowed.
  • Only FA branded sweaters, sweatshirts, fleece jackets may be worn to school. 

Jackets / Raincoats: 

  • Non-FA winter coats and rain jackets may be worn to school as needed, but are not to be worn in the classroom. 

Shoes: 

  • Students must wear closed-toed shoes with socks to school each day. 

Athletic Team Uniforms: To promote team spirit, students who participate on athletic teams may wear their athletic uniforms/team shirt on game days with uniform bottoms. 

Out of Uniform Dress Days: Throughout the year, Frederica Academy has spirit or themed wear days to demonstrate school pride. We encourage students to participate in these days and wear the requested attire instead of their uniforms. The guidelines for these days are as follows: 

  • Students participating in FA Spirit Days must wear uniform bottoms with FA tops.
  • Students participating in themed dress days must follow those guidelines for dress.
  • Students who choose not to participate in either Spirit or Theme days must be in uniform. 

Labeling Clothing: It is extremely important to label all clothing items. Unlabeled items will be stored in our lost and found for a limited time and then it will be donated or offered in our used uniform sale. 

 

Dress Code Violations: If a student is out of dress code, he or she will be requested to change into dress code. If a student has egregious and/or repeated violations of dress code, the Dean of Students and Middle School Director reserve the right to intervene and issue disciplinary action.
